The Students’ Health and Welfare Centres Organisation (SHAWCO) is UCT’s student-run community health and welfare organisation. Generations of medical students have learned the practice of medicine in SHAWCO clinics, serving communities across the Cape.
Gifts through Decades of Doctors support the Faculty and SHAWCO, so today’s students can have the same experience many of us remember.
